Boston-based Transgressive signee Mutual Benefit (aka Jordan Lee) has just announced that his second album Thunder Follows The Light will arrive this September. We're suspecting a theme emerging as the album's first offering 'Storm Cellar Heart' takes inspiration from a huge Storm that Lee witnessed in New England. Contrary to the sheer power of mother nature's wrath, 'Storm Cellar Heart', is fragile and endearing. Guided be Lee's almost MGMT-esque vocals, stunning chord progressions are played masterfully on the piano, as heart-wrenching strings bring a cinematic quality to the mix. There's a timelessness about this track, which echoes the genius of Simon and Garfunkel's darker works.
